Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Matawan-Aberdeen First Aid Squad. We are super excited to get to know you, and we are looking forward to having you on the team! Please follow the instructions below to fill out our membership application.

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in joining Matawan-Aberdeen First Aid Squad! We are proud to say that our organization has been serving Aberdeen Township and Matawan Borough since 1934 as a 100% volunteer organization.  This section of the application provides a brief explanation of the different types of memberships available, and basic requirements of the application process.  We hope you will make the commitment needed to become part of our team.

The Cadet Corp. is an group of engaged young adults who wish to learn more about the emergency medical services field. As a Cadet
(16-18) /Junior Cadet (14-15) Member, you can expect to attend weekly drills/meetings/events and maintain a monthly riding hour requirement (not applicable to Junior Cadets).

Please note that our Cadet Program does have a waitlist. If at the time of applying the roster is completely full, you will be notified that you have been added to the waitlist. 

Membership Application Procedure:
1. Read the above preface to the application.
2. Completely fill out all portions of the application.
3. Download the recommendation form (click here), and have two non-family members make a statement about your character and sign.
DO NOT LOSE this once it is complete. You will need to bring it with you to your interview once it is scheduled.
4. Email us the application back along with a copy of your drivers license at info@mafirstaid.org ATTN: MEMBERSHIP or drop it in our mailbox in a sealed envelope ATTN: MEMBERSHIP at 28 Little Street, Matawan, NJ 07747. You can also mail the application to us:

5. If you dropped off your application in the mail you must email info@mafirstaid.org ATTN: MEMBERSHIP and let them know you dropped of your application along with a copy of your drivers license.
5. The secretary will review your application and ensure that all documents are enclosed and properly filled out.
6. The Membership Committee will then contact you to schedule an interview using info@mafirstaid.org.
